This is the edge of the field at Rondo Retreat, just before we started walking into the forest.

Rain in a rainforest, who knew?! We were soaked when we got back to our rooms but had a roaring fire to warm us up - so that worked out nicely!

I love your posts on Kenya. I lived in the Kakamega Forest last summer. I worked at the Kakamega Forest Dispensary right across the road from KEEP. Seeing your photos of the forest brings me much joy. I hope to live there again sometime in the near future! I miss it so!
